About Pat Feldson
Born and raised in the Midwest (South Dakota), Pat has lived in the Intermountain West for the past 30-plus years. She graduated from Mt. Marty College, Yankton, SD, and has a M.A. in Old English from the University of Chicago and a M.A. in Culture & Spirituality from Holy Names College, Oakland, CA. Pat’s background includes teaching and administration, but most of her career has been as an editor/writer. She retired in 2003 after eleven years as communications director for the Henry’s Fork Foundation, a nonprofit river conservation organization in eastern Idaho. She was active in community affairs and served on the Fremont County Idaho Planning & Zoning Commission for seven years. She has been an avid hiker and camper for many years and has organized many group hiking retreats. She has been involved in justice issues since college, and sees her service on the RCLI board of directors as an opportunity to contribute to an understanding of the necessity of justice for the Earth as the starting point for individual—and universal—well being. Pat sees RCLI as potentially at the cutting edge of a growing movement to establish a right understanding and practice of right relationship by people to the place they call home. Pat’s other interests include reading, photography, and enjoying the companionship of her dogs Maggie and Ginny. |
