About Lawrence McEvoy
Born and raised in Minnesota, Larry graduated from the University of St. Thomas, where he majored in biology and chemistry. He then attended Marquette University School of Medicine, graduating in 1966. A two-year tour in the Indian Health Service followed. He then trained in internal medicine. Now, after 36 years as a physician, he is retired and is committed to working on environmental issues, particularly those that affect the West. He is most concerned that Americans are psychologically becoming a “landless people”.
Larry enjoys birding, traveling, canoeing and hunting. He and his wife, Carol, raised their four children in the mountains of western Montana. He operates “Camp Grandpa” regularly for his eight grandchildren. |
