Current Activities
Saturday Adventures
Last Saturday of each month. Meet at 10:00. Spend a day with the land. Bring a lunch! Suggested donation is $7/person, $15/family.
All hikes are suitable for children and families. Meet at Rocky Mountain College, North parking lot, for carpool and arrangements. Bring appropriate shoes, water, snacks, etc. Cameras and field journals welcome!
Dates subject to change due to weather. Reservations are not required but are appreciated.

Wildflower Wednesdays
Starting on Earth Day, April 22nd, meet at 5:30pm for short hikes every other week to observe and record prairie flora (and whatever else we might find). Spend an evening with the prairie. Suggested donation is $5/person. Dates include May 27th, June 10th, June 24th, July 8th, July 22nd, August 5th, August 19th, September 2nd, September 16th.
Moonlight Hikes
See (and hear) the prairie under the full moon. Every full moon, meet one hour before sunset. April 8th (Wednesday), May 8th (Friday), June 7th (Sunday), July 7th (Tuesday), August 5th (Wednesday), September 4th (Friday). Suggested donation is $5/person.
Get Connected with Hikes and Programs
Join us for any and all of our winter programs! We are featuring multiple presenters and topics in our seasonal series, as well as chances to get out on the land and experience the prairie in winter. In addition, we are hosting a presentation by ecologist George Wuerthner on fire ecology and an accompanying summit on "Fire" and its meaning in multiple disciplines. More Information... |
